He wont talk to me, and I dont know why

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
i developed a serious relationship starting when i was 16, it lasted for 3 1/2 years, and it recently ended about 2 months ago. I am not completely crushed and seriously depressed.

The thing is.. he's been avoiding me.. and all i want to do is be friends, because he means that much to me.. i just couldn't stand not to have him in my life. But he wont talk to me, and I dont know why. That's why i'm all depressed today, because I called him on the phone, and he told me he had no desire to talk to me and hung up.

RomanceClass.com Advice
My guess is that it was you who broke up with him.

Whether that's true or not, it seems there was not a good closure in the relationship. Closure is when you agree to be friends (if both people want to)once the relationship is over. It's hard to get closure now that he isn't talking with you.

Maybe he hasn't had time to get over the breakup. Keep trying every two weeks or so and maybe he will soften and be willing to talk with you.

For your sake, I hope he does! George
