I want to be a little bit more fun and playful

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
Hi,I'm 15, dating an 18 year old, and we've been going out just over 4 months. He loves me very much, and i love him too, but he's going to be leaving for university near the end of summer. I want to be a little bit more fun and playful with him, but I don't really want to seem like a slut. Him and i are not going to have sex, we already agreed on that. He told me he won't pressure me to do anything i'm not comfortable with, but... i kinda want to do a bit more progressively. it's just that, well, he's my second boyfriend, first kiss, and him leaving influences my decision on whether i should do more. and im just not sure whether i should... i know the saying "when in doubt say no" and i have. please help?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You are very bright and insightful.

That helps you figure out what to do and why. But you are also only 15 and thinking of him leaving. You are putting more pressure on yourself than he is.

Be honest with him and yourself. Tell him that you want to go a little farther. Once that has happened and if you feel good about it then tell him you are ready to go a little farther. (You don't have to actually tell him if you don't want to... you can show him you are ready).

Keep in mind that he is 18 and you are 15 so he may get into legal trouble if you go too far (state laws are different). So don't go too far.

Good luck! George
