He was mean to her when they dated

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
My girlfriend hangs out with her ex-boyfriend alot, and she told me that she was in love with him and that was the only time she was ever in love.

She came up stairs to come to bed and she was talking with him on the phone, ans she thought i was sleeping and I heard him ask her "When are we getting married?" and you and him won't work out, so come back to me. But before she could answer I looked at her with a scared look, and she changed the subject and 5 minutes later let him go. He was mean to her when they dated and he still is, I don't know how many times after he hung up on her she called him an ass hole. I don't get it, if she thinks he is one, why does she still wanna hang out with him? PLEASE HELP ME

My question is, Do you think she could have feelings for him still? Can I trust her?

RomanceClass.com Advice
She is still attracted to him.

Even though he was mean to her and she still calls him names there is something between them.

This is not good news for you. You need to have a long, deep conversation with her full of honesty, trust, caring, friendship, and loyalty. Share your feelings with her without getting angry.

This is a good way for you two to come to an understanding of what is going on. You might not like the results, but it's better than worrying.

Good luck! George
