I have been with my boyfriend for 6 months now!

Visitor's Question from a 51-60 year old Female
i need so much help. i have been with my boyfriend for 6 months now! in the begining of the relationship he got drunk and cheated on me. he lied to me and tried to cover it up many of times. he said he did that because he didnt want to lose me. now 6 months down the line he's friends with a girl at work and i feel like they flirt, even though he tells me he loves me all the time. i still feeel like he doesn't hear me and im jealous. ill get mad about her all the time. i have seen her and she is very pretty. so that makes my confidence and self-esteem go down. i feel bad beacuse i make him miserable everytime we fight about it. i love him more then anything or anyone. i want us to be happy again, to laugh, and to smile. can you please help me? im so lost.

RomanceClass.com Advice
First he cheated on you.

Now he has a cute friend at work that he flirts with.

No wonder you are jealous! One thing that you could learn to do is to fight energetically against those jealous thoughts. Whenever a jealous feeling comes over you tell it that your b/f loves you and the other girl doesn't matter. Do this about 100 times and the jealous thoughts should give up trying to bother you and go away.

Here are some more tips on jealousy:
