Ever since then she barely talks to me

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
There is a girl in my school that I like. One of her friends asked me if I liked her and I said yes, so I am not that shy. But, I think she might of told her that I like her and ever since then she barely talks to me, she doesnt even say hi or bye. Before that she was very friendly and I used to talk to her in school more. I also used to talk to her online a lot. I still talk to her online now but I am the one that usually says Hello and starts making a conversation. I want to know if she likes me and she is shy or she is not interested in me and ever since she found out that I like her she doesnt want to talk to me.

RomanceClass.com Advice
This is one of those times when you have to be straight out with someone.

When you message her on the internet say something like... I know you probably found out that I like you. But since then we have drifted apart. What I want to know is if you just don't like me or if you are shy.

That is direct and she might be scared off by it. But consider it.

The other way is to slowly build up your relationship with her over time.

You can do this by greeting her warmly when you see her, if in a crowd. Look her straight in the eyes, say in a clear voice "Hi" plus her name and give her a big smile. Speaking of smiles, you should always smile at her when you look at her.

Good luck! George
