She felt the same way, but was afraid to leave her boyfriend

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Hi i'm 18 years old. This girl and i have been friends for 6 years. We became good friends when we got to high school. As the years pass i began to develope feelings for her. Her friends often to me that she liked me but she always had a boyfriend. So before we went to college i told her how i felt. She felt the same way, but was afraid to leave her boyfriend. So two weeks ago she emailed me saying that she has strong feelings for me and is really confused about what to do because she still has that boyfriend. i told her i would like to move forward and she agreed, but now we don't know how to act around each other. What can i do to make things better.

RomanceClass.com Advice
As I understand your story, you and she decided to proceed with your relationship even though she still has a boyfriend.

If so, that is why you feel uncomfortable with each other. She is cheating on her boyfriend. The best thing is for her to break up with her b/f and then you two would know where you stand with each other.

Good luck! George
