All is well except the fact he is deathly jealous of one of my male friends.

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
My boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 years. I am currently in my first year of university and we are trying to cope with having a long distance relationship. All is well except the fact he is deathly jealous of one of my male friends. I live in a co-ed residence and this guy is across the hall from me. Me and him recently went to a party together, where I was drinking and he had to basicly take care off me. But nothing happened. My boyfiend freaked out at the fact that im spending "so much time with him" as has basicly told me not to see this guy anymore. How can I get my boyfriend to understand that this guy is nothing more then a friend, and he has nothing to worry about?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You probably can't convince him 100%.

The best you can do is to keep telling him over and over again that he has nothing to worry about and he has to learn to trust you.

Without trust, a long distance relationship is almost certain to fail.

Good luck to you! George
