I have decided to tell my friend that I have very strong feelings for her

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I have decided to tell my friend that I have very strong feelings for her. I need to exercise extreme caution with this because the last thing I want to have happen is to lose her as a friend or have things get weird between us. How can I tell her without freaking her out? She has a boyfriend (who I know is cheating on her)so how can approach that situation. I really care about her deeply and would be so happy if she felt the same way about me. I can honestly say that I have no idea what she'll say. Some of the sigsn she exhibits are that she says hi to me in the halls and gives me hugs. She said it was good to see me a couple nights ago. She signs her AIM messages XOXO but i don't know it that means anything. Can you tell if she likes me from that. If not that's okay. Should I tell her beforehand that I have something important to tell her or just surprise her out of the blue. Though I have liked her a lot for the past two years would saying that make her think I'm some sort of psycho. I don't think she has any idea what's about to hit her. Please Help. Thank You

RomanceClass.com Advice
As I suggested the other day, you should say to her "I am developing feelings for you."

Anything stronger than that could upset her.

If she admits to having feelings for you too then you can tell her more about how strongly you feel but still don't go overboard.

Good luck!
George
