You have a high mountain to climb.

Always smile and say hello [name] to the person. Once they begin to respond nicely, then add something like "how's things going?" This should be easy for them to answer. (Fine.)

Gradually they might begin to like you and you could become friends.

This all takes courage on your part, but you are strong. Right?

If you don't try, you won't succeed!
