we ending up trying to have sex

i ve been knowing the love of my life for two years,we even have the same birthday,so so much alike,,we broke up for the first time after three months ,because he still had feelings for his ex,,that he broke up with six months before we got together,,we were best friends before we ever dated,we loved each other so much in a weird way,,after that we kept on and off,,i stayed supporting him all through,,we went back with her,and broke up again with her,,she hurt him again,but he still sees her and me..he says i am much better than she is,,but has feelings for both..any way,,i am 31 we never had sex through our relationship because i was a virgin,,yesterday he visited me suddenly from another state,,for a little while he seemed like he missed me alot and feeling guilty,,so i tried to make him feel better,,we ending up trying to have sex,,he only entered just a little bit,,not hardly nothing,,i was in alot of pain and couldn,t continiue doing it,,but i bleed alot ,,i mean alot,,and stayed bleeding for 24 hours till now,,slightly now,,is that normal,,he left back home and we might in a month of so try again,,i realy want him to be my first i love so deeply,,but he is going to leave me again, i know i don,t have all of his heart and he doesn,t live here or contact me much,,but he says i mean more to him than anyone else and that he loves me,,what should i do..and is my pain and bleeding so much normal..would i bleed again,,am i still a virgin????

Almost anything happens in sex and most of it is normal. You don't sound abnormal to me, but since you are worried about the next time and since you were not successful this time take the advantage of your break to go to an ob/gyn for a look-see. You will get expert advice and feel much better.
