my boyfriend constantly leaves

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female
My boyfriend and I have been friends for 2 years and dating for 9 months now. We live together and love each very much. But, my boyfriend constantly leaves. It started out for just a few minutes, now it has escalted into the "need" to be gine for days. I have tried to talk to him about this and he says he has no way to explain this. He does this mainly when we get into any form of conrontation. Also, I am allergic to cigarette smoke and when we get into fights he smokes and says he doesn't care.

We had such a wonderful friendship and this really is bothering me because the length and frequency has increased tremendously.

thanks-

RomanceClass.com Advice
Time for a marriage counselor.

His behavior is reprehensible and perhaps the counselor can help you two communicate so that he realizes that his behavior is off-the-wall.

If he won't go (and it sounds like he won't), then go to a counselor by yourself and try to get some professional advice.

My best wishes are with you!
George
