Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
ok since you said no personal names i'll just call her lynette. there's this girl lynette i've known for a very long time...i mean all my life...and ever since we were little she's had a huge crush on me and i did on her too but i never told her because i didn't know how to do it cause i was so young so i just let her get on my nerves all the time and now she's all grown up and looking fabolous! so we recently met up because i hadn't seen her in a very very long time and i saw how great she was looking so we conversated and everything and i guess all those feelings in the past that were bottled up came back to me and now i don't even think i like her...i might love this girl...so on that same day i text messaged her from my phone and i told her how i felt about her and she was shocked but it was a good shock though...and then she text messages me back saying how she has always thought of me as a big brother but that's b.s. case for one thing i haven't been around her in forever and when we finally see each other again we have a good conversation and everything. i keep having dreams about this girl and i want to take her out but i don't know how to do it. we're 2 years apart and there's no way she can see me as a big brother...no way...so how can i get closer to her? i want to be more than friends with this girl...i mean i have to have her...i believe she's my soulmate...please help me.

RomanceClass.com Advice
At least you know where you stand. You love her and she thinks she feels like you are an older brother.

Next step is to keep communicating with her and keep your conversations honest, interesting, attentive, caring and soon her feelings for you will grow to match the conversations. Once you have that good friendship and trust then suggest that you go out for dinner or something.

Unless she has a boyfriend, she will probably say yes. I hope so!

Good luck,
George
