Talk to him

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I have been dating this guy J for a month now, we spend a good 3 or 4 nights a week just hanging out- most of the time just hanging out with mutual friends- its fun I have a blast, we really get along and I really like this guy and all of the flirty signs are there. BUt its more times than not I am the one iniating the get together. Also, more times than not when we are together he is drinking or already drunk. Not a good sign I know- but he is just really sweet to me, when I do stay the night with him- he is always telling me how he loves it that I am there with him and that he really enjoys spending time with me-

what I am getting at is that I am always the one iniating everything and always anxious to hear from him- he really confuses me! Does he like me or do you think I am that girl who he likes to hang out with when hes drinking? Should I suck it up and move on? or just go with it? -All Mixed Up from Ark

RomanceClass.com Advice
The way to find out what is going on is to talk with him.

A good relationship cannot last without honest, open, communications. Each of the couple must trust the other person enough to find out what their feelings are for each other.

You are right, the signs are troubling about his drinking... and that is something else you can discuss.

Good luck!
George
