Doesn't want to look like an idiot

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
There's this guy that i like hes my neighbor...and i'm pretty sure he likes me too but im not positive. he sends me random pointless e-mails, tells me how many more days until my birthday was and when were walking home from the bus and i stop and say googdbye to my friend he stops and waits with me. and he always laughs at my jokes that sometimes arent that funny, and it seems like he just always trying to be around me. is this just him being nice and playful...or does he have feelings for me? if he does how is it ever going to get out inthe open hes pretty shy and i dont wanna look like an idiot if he doesnt like me.

RomanceClass.com Advice
My recommendation is to leave things the way they are now. I think he likes you a lot and is too shy to say it directly. But, he is telling you in many ways indirectly.

As time goes on and if he still is courting you, he may build up the courage to tell you he likes you. Meanwhile you can suggest activities to do together like a movie or hanging out.

Eventually you might have to take the lead and tell him that you are developing feelings for him and ask him how he feels about you.

Hope everything works out for you!
