Use him as a pointer, not as a go between

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Hello, again! I'm the one with the "How to find a girl" topic. I have another question, George. I have to ask becuase you're the best. I've not been having much success w/ flirting but I'm hanging in there, don't worry!

I've come across a GREAT idea! Here goes: One of my friends, who's a freshman, has a girlfriend who goes to another school. He and I ride the same bus to school and we also walk together to the bus and to some classes. What I realized is that I should ask him if HE knows any girls who I could date! I'm pretty sure he does! That would be the best thing in the whole world!
I realized that I could meet girls through HIM instead of ME doing all the work myself!
Wow! I wish I have thought of this sooner!

What do you think of that?!

Thanks, George! I owe you big time!

RomanceClass.com Advice
It's a great idea!

Ask him to point out some girls who might want to date. However, you should not use him to make the contacts. It sounds tempting to use him that way, but you need to learn to approach girls yourself. Having said that, he and his girlfriend will probably tell girls that you are interested in dating and you will get some feedback that way.

It's important for you to do these things mostly on your own. But using friends is something that a lot of people do so go for it.

Best wishes and I appreciate your thanks!
George
