She needs to see a doctor

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I have been with my girlfriend for 9months now and were very close and very much love. The only problem with our relatioship is we havent had sex, and we both really want to. Weve tried several times over the last 4/5months, but it just wont happen. Every time we try it really hurts her. I dont want to cos her pain, and it just makes us feel awkard and uncomfertable. Its got to the point where it feels it will never happen.
I know you can get a doctor to break her hymen, but she would feel to embarrased to get that done. Is there anything we can try to break it less painlessly? Or lossen it so its easier? Or is there anything else we can try at all, such as ways of making my girlfriend more relaxed?
Could you also tell me where the hymen is located?

Cheers

RomanceClass.com Advice
You could try KY jelly which is sold in pharmacies or supermarkets. This will add lubrication which might help.

But, if it doesn't, she will need to talk to her doctor. Doctor's have heard every embarrassing question over and over so she needs to be brave and ask his advice. Ask for a female doctor if necessary.

The hymen is the thin membrane that keeps you from being able to enter her. You should be able to feel it with you finger at the front of the vagina.

Another possibility is vaginismus which is the contraction of vaginal muscles which then prevent penetration and/or painful intercourse. For more information on this see: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/001487.htm

Good luck!
