"Bob" is a jerk

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
My friend-let's just call him Bob introduced me to his best friend, a guy (who now is my boyfriend) and we are very inlove... But I got into a fight with Bob and ever since then, he tries to make my boyfriend hate me. It is really annoying and I dont know how long he will last, taking in one rude comment after another.

He is acting really immiture- like when he came to sleep over at my boyfriend's house, he made my boyfriend hang up the phone when I was on it with no consideration whatsoever...

When I was friends with Bob, he always always insulted my boyfriend and I don't understand why he still bothers in being friends with him. He also told my boyfriend that I had a crush on some other guy which is entirely not true....

Argh... This is really getting to my head. Please help.

RomanceClass.com Advice
It's easy to see that "Bob" is a jerk. First he badmouths his friend to you. Then he starts badmouthing you to his friend.

He is the one that has the problem but he's causing grief for you. You and your boyfriend need to put up a common front with this guy and let him know that he is not going to wreck your relationship.

Ask your boyfriend to stand up for you and have respect for you. If he can't do that, he isn't much of a boyfriend. Have a good discussion with your boyfriend and make sure you two are on the same wavelength.

I hope this works out for you!
