Getting Rid of a Hickey

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Help!!?? I need to know what is the best way to get rid of a hickey, if it's possible. Thank God it's cold outside, so I can try to hide it with a turtleneck for today, but I need it gone ASAP! I've tried holding an ice cube on it, putting a frozen spoon on it and even tried combing it out...to no avail. It's still there and still huge and purple. Do you have any quick fixes for this? Thanks !

A hickey is a bruise. It's just like any other bruise :) It's about blood vessels inside your body being burst open. They don't just heal instantly :) That's the whole "cool" thing about hickeys, they're long-lasting signs of affection and "ownership" sort of. It's a mark that someone can put on another. You can't just keep wearing turtlenecks? And, I should comment, you let someone give you a hickey if you didn't want one? :)
