Wants to date an older man
Visitor's Question from a unknown year old FemaleI am a 20 yr. old female, looking to start a relationship. I currently work with a guy who seems like "the one". I want to approach him, but he's 11 yrs. older than me! I beleive age is just a number, but my mom seems to differ. I'm afraid of rejection because of age. We talk and can joke with each other at a different level than anyone else at work. I will be moving soon and I invited him, jokingly, to help me move. He responded no, but you can invite me over after. I don't know if I took it and ran with it or if it was just supposed to be funny. How should I approach him...if I should at all?
RomanceClass.com AdviceI would certainly advise that you listen to your mother's reasoning. It is probably very sound. Think about what she says seriously. If you are still sure you want to have a relationship with him, ask him out for dinner or some other fun activity.
