Ex boyfriend causing trouble

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
hey im 16 and my gf is 15. we've been going out 2 months. we are both shy in person, but talk alot on the phone. everytime we meet in person we do kiss. but we barely talk in person, and it is a little akward at times. however i want a little more, and i know shes ready to go another step. and i do not necessarily mean sex, but like i mean even a hickey just to show her that i truly love her. how should i indicate that i am ready? also, her ex is still not over her, he calls her and always wants to hang out, even tho she always says no. he threatened me several times, but i do not want to fight him. how can i make sure our relationship does not get affected by him..afterall he was her first kiss and they ALMOST got sexual. he might try to steal my one true love from me. i love my gf and would never want anything to happen between us, especially since shes like my best friend.

Your girlfriend will let you know if she doesn't want a hickey, so just start to give her one and pay close attention to whether she is enjoying it or not. If she doesn't enjoy it, definitely stop.

The boyfriend is a nuisance. She has told him to stay away. His threats sound empty to me since he hasn't done anything. Just ignore him.

Good luck,
George
