I am Jealous about a Crush

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
There was this one girl that i liked like crazy at school for about 2 years. i found out that she was crazy about me too, but never knew it and i was too shy to ask her out.

she now has a boyfriend who is senior, and she is a freshman. i am extremely jealous and i cannot get over it, i have tried reading books online stuff, and even friends, but no matter what i do i cant seem to stop thinking about how i could of had the girl that i thought was the girl of my dreams. i am also afraid that i am becoming obsessive which is an extremely bad thing, but i just dont know what to do.

Certainly obsessing about a past relationship will do you little good - and can stand in the way of you hooking up with a girl that is perfect for you! We all have crushes and dream-lovers in our past that seem wonderful. The truth is if she HAD been right for you, you two would have gotten over your shyness and found a way to hook up. Many people finally do ask the "girl of their dreams" out and realize once together that the reality was NOT the dream. So to assume it would have been dream-like is rarely true.

I do in fact have entire jealousy ebooks on my site, as well as books of getting through a breakup which is in essence what you are trying to do - break up with this dream you had. I highly recommend reading both of them and working through this, so you can move on with your life and find a girl who is available to date.
