He Wants to Date - I'm Running Away

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Hey, alright well i have never had the best luck with guys. but recently i've been talking to this guy who is amazing, and i was so excited i finally found someone. but as soon as he asked me to go on a date i backed off, and everytime i talk to him he's like "so when we going on that date" and i just say soon soon, and then i dont talk to him for awhile.

i dont know what im scared about. maybe its because he's more experienced and also 4 years older then me. so that may play a part but i really dont know what my problem is. how do i get closer to him and get past my nerves and bad relationship experiences before? i really like this guy and i dont wanna blow it. i know i know i should just go for it and go on the date. but its hard.
thanks!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Only you can control your own destiny. You're writing in about something that you obviously know the answer to! You don't have to get closer to him. This guy is already after you. All you have to do is open your mouth and agree to his request to date you.

You've written in MANY times with issues like this :) We do encourage important questions, but at some point in life you have to stop asking others what to do and just DO them. It's time to stop relying on an anonymous website for every stage of your life :) Take a stand. Make a decision and then do it. It is your life you are leading and you need to begin relying on your own decisions.
