I Want to Date My Friend

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I like one of my friends of 3 yrs. The problem is, I don't think he likes me. Sometimes I think he does, but then he's off flirting with other girls. He's went out with one of these girls before and they broke up. Then, when they were about to get back together, she cheated on him. I thought he'd learned his lesson, but now she's coming around him again, and I'm afraid that they are going to get back together. It tears me eup inside because I really like him and I've liked him for 2 & 1/2 of the 3 years that I've known him!

I treat him 10 times better than any of his girlfriends ever have, even when they were going out. But at the same time, I want him to be happy, or its no use in going out w/ him. How can I make him see that I'm the right one for him and not this other girl? Just because she's prettier than me, I treat him a lot better! I just don't know what to do! Can you PLEASE help me??
