Who is more jealous, daters or non-daters?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Who is most likely to get jealous, the people dating or not not dating?

RomanceClass.com Advice
There isn't any comparison. Jealousy isn't about dating or not dating. It's about a person's insecurities. That person will be insecure whether they're just friends, if they're dating, if they're engaged or married. If you ask around, you'll find married people who are insanely jealous, and you'll find dating people who are insanely jealous. Often they'll try to push into the next level, saying "As soon as we get married, I won't be jealous any more." But marriage or dating doesn't "fix" the person's insecurities. If anything, it makes them worse, because there is now more to lose.
