I'm only in tenth grade and i feel like i'm already in love.

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I'm only in tenth grade and i feel like i'm already in love. I've been dating the same guy for over 9 months and i've never felt like this before. Eveyone thinks that i'm too young to love someone and that i'm being blind but i don't think i am blind, and i really do love him. I didn't feel this strongly until probably the sixth month that we were going out and ever since then i can't imagine my life without him. i feel completely comfortable around him, as comfortable as i would be around one of my best girlfriends. We've been through so much together, i've experienced so many wonderful things that i had never felt or done before. I never want to lose him, he is really someone i could see myself with when i'm older. Can relationships really last that long? And can i really be in love this early?

please help!!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Love comes from a mutual trust and appreciation for someone else. It comes from a long time of spending time together, sharing experiences with each other, sharing your innermost thoughts and dreams and concerns. It's about being there for each other. Most teenagers fall in and out of love, which is more like a crush. But after being with someone for months, that's when love can start to kick in. Yes, I would say that you do feel love for him, and that is a wonderful thing.

I wish you the best!
