I like my best friend... now what do I do

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I like my best friend. Obviously she doesn't know and i'd like to talk to her about it but i'm afraid it might hurt our friendship in one way or another. I'm afraid that maybe if she knew i liked her, then we'd have a harder time talking or hanging out just because there's that little detail that i like her. Recently i think i've made it obvious that i like her and now i think she's avoiding me because of it. This is the kind of problem that i've been worrying about. Should i talk to her about it and hope nothing happens or should i just stick with our friendship the way it is and try to find someone else?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You need to figure out what you want out of your friendship first before you go jumping in to some course of action. Do you want to date her? Thene you should bring up the idea to her and see how it turns out. Do you care more about her friendship? Then you should sit tight and simply be friends and develop that more. It's important to be honest about what you want first before you go trying to do something about it.

Good luck!
