But why does he seem interested all of the sudden

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Hello,
I have liked this this boy "jerry" for almost 9months..his sister is my best friend and we are always hanging out. When im at their house it seems i always end up hanging out with him instead of her and our friends. I knew i liked him before and he knew this aswell. But things didn't work out and he told me i wansnt the girl for him. This really hurt me because i showed him all of my feelings and he broke my heart. We have a end of the year dance comming up in a month and he has been asking me to go with him. He tell me he wants to go with me but i kept saying no because i dont want to become hurt again. Anyways thats not the only problem..the other night i was at their house and i was sitting with him he went to hold my hand and i felt like i had to throw up. Everytime he makes a move on me i feel my stomach gets that goign to throw up feeling and i become all fluttested. I dont know if its because im nervous or not. But why does he seem interested all of the sudden..also he told me he has liked me all along..so what was the point of breaking my heart and going out with other girls..i see him flirting with tons of girls 24/7 i cant trust him but my heart wont let him go ..i think i love him but im unsure can u help me sort of these probelems?

thanks a ton
Micky;)

You are not alone. Many others are also looking at friends and trying to figure out whether to be just friends or bring it to a higher level. It sounds to me like you're feeling all nervous and unsettled by this guy, so you should step back and list out all the things you like about him and all the things you don't like, and balance them out and figure if going out with him is the right thing for you. Hurt is part of life, it's part of being real and alive. Stepping up to the plate afterwards is the challenge and delight of it all.

Good luck!
