My Lying Boyfriend Cheated and Left - I Want Him Back

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My boyfriend of six months just up and left me. HE told me he was going fishing and never came home. I found him 5 days later with someone else that he works with. I don't understand what happened because things were going great. We were even talking marriage. Once I found him with this other girl, he told me that he had been unhappy for the past couple of months and just wanted out. I miss him and want him back, what should I do?

I know it's painful right now - but you need to face some facts. Not only did this guy cheat on you - but he *ran off* and didn't even have the maturity to tell you he was leaving! That is about as slimy as you can possibly get in a relationship. What if you were worried about his health - that he'd been in a car crash or something! He just said he was going fishing and wasn't EVER going to tell you why he had not returned? I just can't believe that.

Go out with friends, talk to people you trust, whatever it takes. Get this guy out of your system and realize that he was about as low on trust as you can get. There is no way you could ever trust him in the future, to share a life together. If things got bad, you'd never know it. He'd just sleep with someone else and vanish on you again. This time you were lucky if you didn't get a sexual disease out of it. The next time it could seriously harm your health.
