What does it all mean?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I have a major dilemma. I hve known this guy for almost 4 years, and in those 4 years we have become very very close. Hes always liked me a little, and Ive always known it. Just in the past year, I have started to like him. Well the oter day, I found out he has a girlfriend. They had a few problems, and they broke up for a few days, but then got back together. I still like him alot, and we have become like best friends in the past few months. This past week, he told me how good of a friend I am to him, and told me he thought I was pretty. Is he just being a good friend? Or does he like me? If he likes me, what should I say to him to let him know I care for him? Please help!

RomanceClass.com Advice
It sounds to me like you're in a stuck situation. The guy you like is already dating someone else and you wish he were with you instead. Unfortunately, he's had plenty of time to make overtures to you if he wanted you as his girlfriend. He hasn't done that, so I would suggest moving on and finding someone who is as thrilled with you as you are with them. Keep this guy as a good friend, it's always great to have someone close that you can enjoy. But I would suggest forgetting him as a boyfriend, he has a girlfriend already and you don't want to set yourself up into a bad situation.

Warmest wishes!
