I Want a Boyfriend

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I am very lonely right now. I am only 15 (almost 16) but alot of my friends and people around me have boyfriends or even just guys that they are really close to. I have never had that and i can't seem to figure out why? Many people get a vibe from me and keep distant. I can't seem to figure out what it is but it really hurts me because i think of myself as such a friendly person. I know this is a hard question to answer because you do not know me but i appreciate the help.

It sounds like you only have female friends and no male friends at all. Is that true? Then it's time to fix that! Boys and girls are both the same in many ways - they want people to hang out with, to talk with, to go to movies with, to share hobbies with.

So if somehow out of everyone around you you have chosen 100% girls and 0% boys to talk to, you are doing that on purpose. I really doubt that all of the girls are "perfect fits" for you and all the guys are "completely bad fits" as far as liking the same music, same hobbies, same TV shows and so on!

I have a ton of tips on my site about flirting and making friends. Only you can change your own life. Get out there and start talking to guys, just like you talk to girls. The more you do it, the easier it'll get, and the more guy friends you have, the more you will get close to one to date him.
