I Got Jealous - He Vanished

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I've been in a long-distance relationship with this guy for a few months. He's kind, sweet and very attentive. We keep in touch daily via e-mail, chats and phone calls mostly. He always says that he loves me and misses me.

However, one day, I got jealous over one of his chat buddies, a woman. I got mad at him because he went off to chat with her without my knowledge while he and I were supposed to be chatting. He said he was sorry and that it would not happen again. He signed off with hugs and kisses.

That was the last I've heard of him. He has not written to me since--that's about 2 weeks ago. I've e-mailed him several times, sent him love e-cards and even called him on the phone. He was not in and I left messages on his machine. I asked him if he wanted to break up and to let me know if that was the case but all I've got now is total silence. I know he has received my e-mail as I got read receipt. What do you think is going on with him? The silence is killing me as I need closure in order for me to move on. Thank you.

RomanceClass.com Advice
I would consider this guy to be gone. For him to go off and spend time with someone else when he was supposed to be with you isn't a great sign. The only thing you really have in a long distance relationship is trust - and once he violates that, what is left? The fact that he was really slimy in avoiding you after he was caught just solidifies that this is not a guy you want in your life.
