I'm Jealous Over his Female Friends

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I have a serious jealousy problem that I cannot seem to get over. It's so bad that I get terrible headaches, shakiness, and feel as if I could throw up at times and it is beginning to ruin the great relationship that I have going on.

I have been w/my boyfriend for 1 year and a half now. I know that he loves me and I obviously love him too. I don't think that he would ever hurt me. He is an outgoing person who talks to everyone he passes by and upsets me, especially when the girl is pretty. Don't get me wrong, I know that I am prettier than half of the girls that he talks to (not being conceited).

He is 30 yrs. old and I am 21. He is friends with a 44 yr. old woman, who I cannot stand. They have lunch together and have been known to visit each other. She is way too touchy-feely and I don't like that one little bit. Although she is a married woman and has a very pretty daughter who is only 1 year older than me, that upsets me very much.

Am I over-reacting? I have confronted him, but his excuse is that they are "just friends". I have been cheated on once before and so has he. I don't know what to do. I need some help and advice before I completely destroy this relationship.

I have a ton of advice on this site about jealousy including an ebook. If they're not enough help, get a therapist to talk to. Either you find a solution to your jealousy, or it will destroy the relationship.
