I Like Him, He Has a Girlfriend

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
There's this guy that I really like and he's a few years older but i really relate to him and ive been with other guys b4 and dated etc. but ive always had these crushes and stuff and i liked them but not like this. My stomach does loops when he even just calls and I think about him practically all the time. Whenever i even hear something remotely related to him i jump or quickly turn my head.

The only problem with all of this is that he has a gf and he really cares about her. Theyve been dating for a while but he doesnt see her that much and hes even told me he doesnt think that theyre going to last long. About a half yr ago he told me that he liked me as more than a friend but that was the end of the conversation. Then when i saw him recently we rested our heads together during a movie and fiddled our fingers and he put his arm around me. On the way out.. just like all the couples he had his arm around me as well. That nite when i talked to him he said he wasnt sure if we would ever go out, but then he mentioned me bringing a friend for one of his friends and all of us double dating so i became confused.... and then the next day he said he acts like that w/ all of his friends, but i know this isnt true...

a few weeks later we had a misunderstanding that made me think he had been a "fake" friend.. but he called me 3 times and left sympathetic messages saying he didnt no wut was up and he really wanted to talk and he emailed me as well... now we're ok.. but what i would like to know is how i can find out if things will ever work between us... b/c my heart breaks a little more every time i hear about his gf and then when they have probs. i get my hopes up and i cant keep living like this.. its been sooo long.. i just want to know if he even likes me back at all b/c i love him.. and i wish hed be mine.... wut do i do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
He has a girlfriend. If he wanted to be with you, he would have broken up with her. He is using you as a safety net, while maintaining his girlfriend as his main love. You shouldn't ever let yourself be used like this. Call a break and give yourself time to get over him. If he really wants to be with you, he can be. But if he chooses NOT to be with you, then move on and find someone who does want that.
