An older man

Visitor's Question from a unknown year old Person
I am a 16 year old girl and i have found myself having deep feelings for a man aged 24. I know the age gap is quite big, but that is not what bothers me. My mum has no objections to this as she has known this boy for a fair while. He recently revealed to me that he has feelings for me, but made me understand that he is not ready for a relationship with anyone yet. He says he just wants to have fun at the moment. I do know that he brokw up his 2 year relationship about 2 months ago, but i feel as though he has had fairly sufficient time to be ready to begin dating again. I am willing to wait until he is ready, but i grow concerned. he has started treating me as merely a friend, no other contact is being made unless i make the first move. We also work at the same place and all i get out of him in a normal day is a 'dnt u say hello 2 me' and a 'cya l8er' before he leaves. I like this man too much to just be friends. I dont know what to do, how to act, what to say. Please help me, im in over my head and need some real advice.

As much as we may want to, we can't make people act or feel a certain way. If he isn't ready, he isn't ready. A relationship takes two and if one isn't willing, there is no relationship.

Just be friends for now, that sounds like what he really needs.
