Who Do I Believe?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Me and my boyfriend have only been going out for about a month. He's my first boyfriend, and I'm like his sixth girlfriend. Well, at the beginning we were real good and still are. But a few days ago he found out this girl he went out with over the summer moved back and she still thinks that they're going out. I believe him, that they're not. But then his brother told my friend that my boyfriend is cheating on me. I don't know who to believe, my boyfriend or my boyfriend's brother. Please help me out here!

RomanceClass.com Advice
One of the most important things to learn in life is that you have to trust the people you have made a commitment with. There are always going to be outside forces that try to destroy what you have. But either your relationship has honesty and trust, or it's doomed to failure. You have to talk with, believe in and work with the person you have made a commitment with. So talk to him. Tell him that you care for him, ask him what is going on. The moment you start believing in rumors and gossip and thinking it's more important than the person you are a partner in life with, you're going to have trouble.

Also, make sure you talk to this girl and let her know you are this guy's girlfriend. There should NEVER be any confusion about WHO is going out with WHO.
