My Boyfriend Wants a House Slave

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
This is a little embarrassing but I need help. I don't know how to cook very well and this gets my boyfriend mad because he says that I should know already. He told me it was over because when I go to his house I "just sit there". I don't go help his mother to do house stuff.

I think that he met someone else and he is just looking for excuses to dump me... or is he right for being mad because I'm not as outgoing and helpful as he would like me to be? He won't answer the phone anymore , I don't know what to do!

Good god almighty, did this guy grow up in the stone age??? I have to tell you, over HALF of the couples I know have the guy who cooks and the girl who does NOT cook. There is no rule or regulation that says the girl has to cook! What is he, King Tut who is going to sit there in his kingdom and supervise while the girl cooks and cleans and tends to his every need??

And he wants you to come over and HELP HIS MOTHER CLEAN????

I pity the woman who ends up with this guy if he doesn't get his act together. He sounds like a real neanderthal. Maybe he will learn his lesson when he enters the real world and come back to you and offer to be more supportive. But I strongly recommend you find a guy for yourself that is at least aware of the last 100 years. A guy who treats you like a doormat now is only going to get far worse as he gets used to this behavior.
