were talking again

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Hey, so here is my dilemma and i need advice from some one who i dont know and does not know me. My ex and I were dating for about 2 years had a very strong relationship, towards the end we fought alot and I who has always had trust issues sort of invaded in on her personal space a little to much. One day after a concert she broke it to me and told me she needed space. I heartbroken at the time didn't really beg or anything i said ok and left. afterwords i was a mess thinking of all the things i could have done. We kept in touch during our break which was about 6 months, we would talk on the phone and chat online every once and awhile to see how eachother was doing, we also occasionally and had a blast.. OK so recently after new years ball drops i get a phone call from her saying the guy she was with ditched her and that she just feels misplaced, he is self centered and doesnt connect with her. I talked her through this all and for days after she begane to call me omore she then asked me to meet up for dinner and a movie and i thought this was great, we sat down and discussed things and both decided to give it another try . My question is how can i rekindle that old flame we used to have, when were together we always laugh, i want to make sure its real and im not the fallback because things with her and the other guy didnt work.. how can i tell that im not being a fallback and she really likes me again?
