Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
My girlfriend broke up with me last weekend and im realy suffering at the moment we are still talking and she says she still loves me and misses me. We have had a few problrms in the relationship as everyone dose in November this year would have been 3 years that we were going out and it is a very long time just to throw it away like that. The problem is she thinks that she cant get into my family ( my mother) She feels she is getting pushed out and that i have not stood up for her infornt of my mother. She was the one I was to be with for the rest of my life we had great plans. Please could you give me some advice on what to do.

Thanks

RomanceClass.com Advice
Have a talk with your mother and explain to her that you want to marry this woman but a problem has arisen which caused a break up.

Tell her that your GF feels left out of the family and that she thinks you don't stick up for her enough. Ask your mother for advice. Hopefully she will have a positive attitude and promise to try to work with your GF to make a place in the family for her.

Once you have discussed this with your mother, tell your GF about it.

In fact, you might want to discuss this idea with your GF before talking with your mother about it.

Good luck! George
