She's afraid I'll leave her

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
There's this girl in my school that I'm head over heels for. I know she likes me in that way, since we went out about a month ago. However, she dumped me unexcpectedly and said that she was afraid I'd leave her if she did something stupid or made a dumb comment.
Normally, I'd immediately tell her I love her and that I'd never leave her over something so simple. However, she has very little self-confidence and I don't want to scare her by being so forward.
She's still comfortable around me, because she'll sing with me when she won't sing around many other people and she doesn't object to hugs and a kiss on the cheek when we part ways, but I can still sense nervousness around me.
She once told me I'm everything she ever dreamed of. Now I want to let her know the same thing.
What can I do to take that big step to reassure her and ask her to give me another chance?
