I am so confused

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Ok, I wrote here a while back about this girl I wanted to date. From what she told me, she wanted to date me to. The problem was her mom didn't want to meet me because she preferred her daughter to date this other guy, who was good friends with this girl. Anyway, this girl, instead of telling me her mom didn't want to meet me, kept talking to me like things were great, then a few days ago, tells me she has been dating this guy for a while, btw, the girl is 17. So, obviously, I am hearbroken, as I am completely infatuated with this girl. She says she still wants to be friends and I am trying to get her to see me(as friends), so we can just talk about things. I am not going to try to break those two up, that wouldn't be right, but I am wondering what I should do to have the best chance of a future relationship with this girl. I think the best thing would be to try to be her friend and hope that she breaks up with this kid and they decide to be friends, and then she decides to date me(I know that sounds bad, but I really like her). Is there really anything else I can do? I think by doing this I am taking the high road, as my friends say I should be mad and curse her out and never speak to her again, but I want to have a chance with her. What should I do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Since you want to be with her, you have made the right decision.

Stay a friend and be the best friend you can be. You don't have to try to undermine her and her boyfriend, but if they part ways then you will be there standing by.

You have nothing to gain by cursing her out.

Good luck! George
