Being To Nice?? A new one on me...

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Hey There. I'm 23 years old and I have been dating a girl that is 21. I think we really like eachother. I have been talking with her parents (which are awesome) and they tell me that she thinks I'm "to nice". She said that I would be the type of guy she would "marry". She has never brought any of her dates to meet her parents after the first few dates....but she brought me to meet them! I have honestly never heard anyone say this before. I think that a guy she treat his woman or his date great...and to be a gentleman. I open the door for her, I let her order food first, I ask if she needs anything...ect. So, am I being to nice? Is there such a thing as being to nice? Just a little confused here.....because this is who I am...and if I'm to nice..I'll never find anyone! haha Thanks Alot

RomanceClass.com Advice
First of all, in case things fall through with this woman, there are many women out there who would be delighted with a guy who is "too nice."

Ask your g/f what examples she has of your being too nice. If it's something simple like opening car doors then stop doing it. Have a nice long conversation on this topice of being nice and you may be surprised at what she says. Maybe you aren't giving her enough sexual adventure!

If you really value her, you will stop doing some of those nice things... and then she will probably ask you to do them again :) Go figure.

Good luck! George
