The love of my life is gone and I want it back

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
So I came back from working in another state for eight weeks only to find the love of my life had feelings for another guy. I had broken the commitment before the summer began because I didn't want to worry about her or her for me. She had gotten my hopes up by tellin me when I was gone she could never be with anybody else and so I just fell more in love with her, and then she had feelings for someone else when I came back and she left me to explore these feelings for this other person. She says she needs space and time from me, but a different form of space because she said she cannot not have me in her life. It has been a month and half and she is still with him. She dumped me and the very next day was in a relationship with this guy. She says she still loves me and always will, and said a two weeks ago she had doubts whether she made the right decision, and wanted us to be friends. Then just this past week she said she is happy and there is someone who could love me better. I talked to her this week and told her I would always be there for her but just not as a friend right now and asked her too (unfairly I admit) if she still was in love with me and she repeatred the question as in not knowing an answer or negatvity. Did I mention this was both of ours first serious relationship?...The thing is I am more in love with her than ever and have grown up so much over the past few months and she only saw a bad side of me the night we broke up. I do want to be with her for the rest of my life..and that is no joke. What should I do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You should try to be her friend right now.

A good friendship could re-ignite the sparks of love she has for you.

Otherwise you will be left thinking about her and wonder how she feels.

If you are her friend, you will be more likely to find out.

Good luck! George
