Can't Take it

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I have had feelings for this girl for 2 years now. We are best friends but, i can never stop thinking anout her. I swear we were meant to be. Every summer she said she would change because that is just how she is. This summer she changed in a way i would have never expected. I'm not sure if i feel the same. We talk a lot on the phone and all of that. I want to tell her everything. When i get the guts to tell her something personal she's silent like she didn't hear me. One time I told her that i wished that i wasn.t around. She said then i would be lonely. I wouldn't have any one to talk to. I ask her what do you mean you talk to your other friends all of the time then she is silent again.
Does she not care what I tell her? Why does she go silent? And how much sooner or later should i tell her how i feel?

RomanceClass.com Advice
She talks to you on the phone and says she would miss you.

This indicates that she is interested in you. Her silences may represent her inability to deal with close conversation... she is probably just uncomfortable.

Keep doing what you are doing... it seems to be working. Ask her how she feels about people your age dating. That will give her a clue about how you feel. In case her response is silence, you should have some viewpoint of your own to tell her.

Keep talking honestly with her, building trust by sharing feelings, and show her affection by saying nice things about her.

Good luck! George
