I recently moved back into town and called an old friend from 13 years ago. He is currently single. We went out and everything went very well; too well for our first date. He said, "I was attracted to you in school and I am still attracted to you now?" What does this mean?

I think it means he's attracted to you :) He's admitting that you were appealing to him back then and still are now! That's a pretty encouraging thing to hear from anyone :)
