Should I move on?

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
When I met this guy we were just friends because he had a girlfriend, they broke up about 3 months ago and I started to have romantic feelings for him about that time too. He has made it clear to me that he likes me and does not want to go back with her but he is still friends with her because she is good friends with another one of our friends. This makes it awkward when we all hang out because she is still trying to get back together with him and although she has told him that she "hates me with a passion" (because I like him) she pretends to be friendly with me e-mailing me about hanging out and wondering how prom went.
He acts different with me when she is around and when people who are friends with her are around but when we are with another group he acts the same as if it was just the two of us. So my question is, how do I deal with this? Should I wait for him to come around or should I try to move on?

It seems a little early to move on.

Give this more time and see if things improve.

Good luck! George
