Interested on getting to know this person better

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I met an attractive, intelligent young man a few weeks ago, who has his stuff together. I noticed him at a school/professional function, and he got my attention. Meaning, he has the qualities that Im looking for in a man. I made the choice to be brave enough and walk over to him and introduce myself. He was nice, gave me his card and told me to email him sometime, which we could discuss employment opportunities.

We've exchanged two emails since then, and in his notations he seems very friendly and acknowledges his outside events.

I would love to get to know this person better, and Im a little scared of asking him out. I know I shouldn't hesitate and at least give it a shot. We havent talked on the phone, so should I continue are email communication? and ask him out?

In addition, Im leaving on a 2month vacation. Which I mentioned to him, would it seem desperate if I tried to move things quickly before I leave?

Thank you very much.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Keep up your email communications but don't ask him out until you get back from your vacation.

It would be awkward to start something and then stop for two months.

If you have access to email on your vacation, keep the communications going.

Good luck! George
