awkward hug

Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old Female
I was interviewed by a man due to an investigation. The interview should have taken only 30", yet he was here for 1 1/2 hours. We laughed, joked, talked about personal issues. Even mentioned "dating" when this was over. He replied he didn't date, but sex was another story. We continued to enjoy our conversation. When he left he asked if i still had his card, should I need anything. I extended my hand and thanked him for making what I thought was going to be very scary into a relatively pleasant experience. He took my hand, shook it gently, then hugged me. No back patting, a real hug. Later in the day he phoned and apologized if he made me uncomfortable at the door but that he found himself so comfortable with me and had not felt that in a very long time. He felt a "connection" to me. I assured him he need not think another thing about it, unless it was pleasant to do so. I admit I was attracted to him so I revealed that I wished he'd have kissed me. I asked if he was married, he said no, but that he was "with" someone. Again the "when this is over" was discussed.

I'm coming out of a very long relationship and have no clue how to read the signs anymore. Any thoughts?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You both hit it off real well but he has someone else right now.

Ask him how she fits into the picture. She may be a big part of his life or not. He may just want you for companionship and sex on the side.

You will have to decide how to proceed based on what he says.

Good luck! George
