He doesn't know if he wants a relationship

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I've been somewhat dating this guy for a little while. We've kissed and cuddled and held hands. All the cutesie little stuff. He went to a dance at school with me and made it obvious that he was into me. I asked him where this was going and he said "I don't know." We talked a bit and he said that he doesn't know if he wants a relationship right now, but he DOES like me. So, I gave it a couple weeks and it seemed like we were just heading in the direction of friendship. He called me so we could "talk" and he still said that he doesn't know if he could handle a relationship. So I asked if we should just be friends then and he goes "No..I don't want us to just be friends." I don't mind taking things slow but I don't want to fall for this guy even more than I already have only for him to decide to just be my friend. Do I wait it out even more? I've had multiple people tell me to drop it. But I really like him. What do you think?

Why ask others for advice.

You two should be able to figure this out yourself. Tell him just what you told me. Tell him you don't want to fall for him even further only for him to drop you. The talk should be long, caring, honest, and trusting.

If you can't talk this out with him, he is probably just not ready for a relationship.

Good luck! George
