Jealousy or Instinct?

Okay i have a girlfriend for about 6 months now and our relationship has been on and off because of my jealousy. Or is it? In the past i would go overboard if she didnt answer her phone or hang up on me, then later she would call and say she was busy. We broke up for a week and i found out she kissed another guy that drove her home from the club one night. We are back together now but i still have a feeling that i cant trust her. Is it my jealousy or is it an instinct i have. The reason i ask this is because i have lived in many countries due to my military job. i am only 22 but i have seen alot of marriages and relationships currupted or currupt where the opposite partner has no idea. I am not sure if this is Instinct that is telling me that this women is a liar and a cheat, or if it is my jealousy. Also keep in mind i live in spain and i am american she is spanish... sometimes i feel that there is a cultural barrier.

It's probably a combination of jealousy and instinct.

You have seen so many marriages go bad that you have a tough time believing that your g/f will be true.

From what you have said, my advice is to stick with her and chalk up some problems to cultural differences.
