When should we Kiss

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I've known my girlfriend for about 2 weeks now, but we haven't went out anywhere. In four days we will be going to the movies and probaly go out to eat afterwards. I know its not alright to make your moves to soon when you don't really know the girl, but i've know her through talking to her and everything. So, would it be alright to kiss her or something like that?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Intimacy in a relationship is all about two people feeling comfortable with each other. It's a joint thing, it's not about "one person" making moves on "another person" regardless of the guy/girl situation. It should be about BOTH of you wanting to do something!!

The real question is how did you guys get to dating already if you're not comfortable with hugging and such? That's what you do when you are friends, and hopefully you were friends before you started dating! So you should already be hugging hello and goodbye, and giving each other backrubs and so on. So a kiss on the cheek while you hug hello or goodbye isn't a huge deal at all. It's very normal between really good friends.

If you haven't even gotten to that stage yet, it's time to start. Don't go lunging into kissing before you have built up the foundation. Make sure you go at this slowly and surely, so at each point it's both of you wanting to do something together. It should NEVER, EVER be about you "making moves" on a girl. That's the way you get a relationship ended quickly, because girls are not objects.
